Doctrinal Statement

The Holy Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Scriptures. It is inerrant, infallible and preserved for every generation. The KJV is the preserved Word of God for the English speaking world. The Bible is the full, final and sole authority for all faith and practice.

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He convicts of sin, regenerates, seals, indwells, fills, and gives every believer spiritual gifts for Christian service. We believe tongues is known languages, and that the Bible clearly teaches against the charismatic practices and ecumenical movement. God gave special sign gifts which were temporary in nature.

God

We believe in the one, true, Triune, living God who exists in three persons which are the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is eternal, omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and self-subsistent. He created the world in six twenty-four hour days.

Satan

Satan is Lucifer who fell from his position because of rebellion taking with him a host of fallen angels. Some of them are bound in Tartarus. He is the enemy of God, the author of sin and is the cause of the fall of man. He is a spirit with supernatural power but is not omniscient, not omnipresent, and not omnipotent. He is to be judged and be cast into the lake of fire forever.

The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the Son of God. The Bible declares He was born of a virgin. The angel said, “…The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee.” He was conceived supernaturally. He lived a sinless life and died a substitutionary and sacrificial death on the cross. After 3 days He rose from the dead, and ascended to Heaven where He now sits at the right hand of the Father as our High Priest making intercession for His children.

The Fall of Man

We believe God created man in His image. God created him perfect but man fell into sin by his personal choice. Every man’s birth into this world is totally depraved, bound to die and face God as judge. However, God made a way of salvation through the substitutionary and sacrificial death of Jesus. Man can be saved by repenting and believing in God’s way of salvation.

Security of the Believer

We believe once a person is saved he can never be lost as salvation is fully dependent upon the full and finished work of Christ.

Christ's Return

We believe Christ will come again in the rapture for believers. We believe in the literal, pre-tribulation, premillennial Rapture. The dead in Christ will rise first and then those that are alive will be caught up to be with the Lord. The tribulation will follow for a period of 7 years and Christ will come back in a literal, visible way setting foot on Mt. Olive to set up His Kingdom and reign from Jerusalem, from the throne of David for a thousand years.

Heaven and Hell

We believe in a literal Heaven and Hell. The saved will go to Heaven to be with God while the unsaved will be judged, punished and eternally separated from God and finally be cast into the lake of fire forever.

"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Matthew 28:19-20
